【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodforthedeterminationofthesubstancesinleatherwhicharesolubleindichloromethane.Thismethodisapplicabletoalltypesofleather.Notallfattyandsimilarsubstancescanbeextractedfromleatherwithorganicsolvents;theymaybeinpartsolubleandpartlyboundtotheleather.Ontheotherhand,thesolventcandissolvenon-fattysubstances,e.g.sulfurandimpregnants,bothofwhichcausedifficultyinthedeterminationoftheacidvalueandsaponificationvalueofthefat.ThisInternationalStandardincludestwotechniquesforextractionofthefattysubstances:1)extractionusingtheSoxhletapparatus;and2)extractionusingapressurizedextractionsystem.Astheextractionisfrequentlydoneinconjunctionwithdeterminationofthefreefattyacidcontentoftheleather,asuitableprocedurefordeterminationofthefreefattyacidsextractedbythismethodisincluded.Theapparatusandtechniquedescribedinthismethodarealsosuitablefortheextractionbysolventsotherthandichloromethane(althoughthetemperatureconditionsmayneedtobevariedforhighpressureextraction).
